Didion Ethanol awarded efficient producer designation so can generate D6 RINs

May 24, 2017 |

In Wisconsin, the Environmental Protection Agency awarded Didion Ethanol the efficient producer designation earlier this month in order to be able to generate D6 RINs from its corn starch-based ethanol using the method employed by its Cambria plant, referred to as the Cambria process. In order to qualify for the designation, the Cambria plant must demonstrate 20% greenhouse gas emissions reduction during a 365-day rolling period. Approval only took less than a week after submission of the documentation.
