Institute of Chemical Technology teams with L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering to EPC its 2G ethanol tech

In India, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering will design and build second-generation ethanol plants based on technology developed by the Institute of Chemical Technology following an MOU signed last week. Together they will provide complete EPC services to potential clients who are looking to invest in facilities in order to achieve the government’s policy goals of 22.5% ethanol blending through 2G. Indian Oil Company and Hindustan Petroleum are amongst the oil marketing companies who have announced investment plans for second-generation facilities.
