Malaysia teaming with Indonesia to develop Chinese and Indian biodiesel markets

In Malaysia, the government is working to further strengthen its ties with Indonesia on palm oil promotion and marketing in an effort to combat increasing aggression from EU and US markets by collaborating in market development in countries like China and India. China is looking to implement a B5 policy that the countries could jointly supply while biodiesel exports to India could also be an opportunity. Jointly, the two countries are responsible for more than 91% of the world’s palm oil exports.
