Argentina’s industry mixed on views regarding the impact on soy from US biodiesel duties

In Argentina, the agriculture industry has mixed views regarding the impact of US anti-dumping duties on Argentine biodiesel import will have on soy prices, with the national oilseeds industry chamber predicting disaster while one of the country’s top farming associations, Sociedad Rural Argentina, said that there were plenty of other destinations for the country’s soy so the loss of the US market won’t be so drastic.
