European Union confirms reopening of market to Argentine biodiesel

In Belgium, the European Commission confirmed it would reduce anti-dumping import duties on Argentine biodiesel in line with the World Trade Organization ruling two years ago that said the duties were too high. The European biodiesel industry has voiced concerns that a return to Argentine imports will hurt their industries, while the Argentine industry is looking forward to recovering the market just as the US shuts its door on them. The tariffs on Indonesia’s imports will remain in place.
