Golden Grain Energy suing ICM for more than $750,000 in damages

In Iowa, Golden Grain Energy is suing ICM for more than $750,000 in losses following the collapse of 30,000-gallon water tank in October 2015. The company and its insurer are suing ICM and Glass King for negligence in federal court, including failure to comply with statutes, ordinances, regulations and industry standards, also claiming the two companies were responsible for design failures that led to the collapse of the water tank. Golden Grain produces 115 million gallons of corn ethanol per year.
