Two Brazilian ethanol cargos headed for San Francisco

October 30, 2017 |

In California, a cargo of Brazilian ethanol is expected to dock in the Port of San Francisco on Thursday while another one left the Port of Santos on Sunday. The two cargos are the first to arrive in California since September 8 and are expected to cause a flurry of activity in the local market as traders work to make room for the new supplies that will generate D5 RINs as well as generate additional credits for consumption under the California Renewable Fuel Standard.
