Argentina will fight US anti-dumping duties at WTO if agreement not reached

In Argentina, the government plans to fight the US’s anti-dumping duties on its biodiesel at the World Trade Organization if the US Department of Commerce doesn’t find a way to make a deal with the domestic biodiesel industry on imports, such as a proposed minimum price for Argentine biodiesel. The new president sees the trade spat as an argument between private industries and not between governments so hopes to find an amenable solution without having to go to the WTO.
