Wilmar’s net pre-tax profits slump 51% on lower Indonesian biodiesel quota

November 14, 2017 |

In Singapore, Wilmar’s Indonesian biodiesel business was awarded 175.3 million liters for the May to October period, down from 241.4 million liters during the previous six months, which hit the company’s overall earnings hard. The Indonesian government awarded Wilmar’s biodiesel business 192.0 million liters for the next six month period. The CEO believes results will improve despite the lower-than-usual quota.
