Goa having a hard time with its biofuel buses

In India, despite Goa’s best intentions to introduce biofuel-powered buses and plans to invest in hundreds more as soon as next year, regulatory issues have impeded the sourcing of biogas from a local facility to fuel the biogas-powered bus while technical issues with air conditioning in the ethanol-fueled buses have kept one bus off the roads and another nearing the same point. What’s more, the ethanol buses don’t allow for the windows to open so when the air conditioning doesn’t work, the buses can’t be used.
