Argentine biodiesel imports into Europe pressure prices heavily

In the Netherlands, Platts is reporting that recent arrivals of Argentina biodiesel into Rotterdam have weighed on FAME-0 biodiesel prices sufficiently to bring the premium against gasoil futures down to 31-month lows at $246.25 while FAME-0 outright prices are down at 21-month lows of $811.25/mt FOB ARA. Platts data showed the additional supplies and weaker vegetable oil prices in general brought the premium for rapeseed-based biodiesel down to an eight-month low of $38.5 with outright prices of $945.50/mt FOB ARA.
