Roxol Bioenergy allowed to resume ethanol production following odor release

In the Philippines, the Manila Times says local authorities have given Roxol Bioenergy the green light to start producing ethanol again after air pollution from the facility forced the city to issue a cease and desist order until sufficient measures were put in place to control the odors. The order was issued on November 16 and lifted on Monday after an inspection showed measures were taken but the city warned that it will continue to do spot checks to make sure the company is fulfilling its pollution control requirements.
