Corn state senators not willing to pull back RFS but could help adaptation

In Washington, Reuters reports that corn state senators say they’ll never allow the Renewable Fuel Standard’s biofuel blending mandate be reduced but they are open to doing what they can to help oil states such as Texas adapt. Staff of Texas senator Ted Cruz said during a meeting held at the White House that he would share proposals with his corn state counterparts in the next couple of weeks intended to help oil states better handle the RFS.
