Vivergo blames focus on Brexit for government’s failure to move forward E10

In the UK, the Hull Daily Mail reports that Brexit may be the reason why the government hasn’t implemented the E10 blending regulations first recommended in 2015, a move the Managing Director of Vivergo says forced the company to mothball its ethanol production facility in Hull due to oversupply in the market.

He says that with so much focus on Brexit there hasn’t been enough domestic policymaking, with everything else put on hold that is having negative impacts across the agricultural economy.
