December 26, 2017 |

In Canada, British Columbia’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is granting the Cowichan Energy Alternatives Society C$23,500 to buy a biodiesel fueling truck as part of a wider $5 million investment program in non-for-profit initiatives throughout the province. The truck will be used throughout the community of Cowichan as part of the initiative’s first and largest alternative energy implementation project to date, the development of a biofuel production and distribution facility at Bing’s Creek in partnership with the Cowichan Bio-Diesel Co-op (Co-op) and the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD).
