Spain opens public comment period on transitioning to permanent sustainability and double tracking system

In Spain, the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda has opened a public comment period through January 19 regarding a proposal to transition the national system for monitoring compliance with sustainability criteria and double counting to the permanent system from the current temporary system that has been in place. The permanent system was outlined in a royal decree November 4, 2011 so the ministry is looking for comments regarding that system and its future implementation.
