China’s November ethanol imports show October’s jump may have been a blip

In China, the little ethanol it is importing is coming almost entirely from Pakistan as shown in November when 6,449 cubic meters of the 6,466 cu m total imports that month came from China’s southern neighbor. Though November’s imports were the second highest for the year, the volume represented a nearly 91% fall year-on-year and 42% drop from October, a shift that traders hoped represented a change in sentiment. The 11,160 cu m imported in October may have been a blip.
