Iowa and Minnesota governors appointed to lead Governors’ Biofuels Coalition

In Minnesota, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds and Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton, have been appointed as chair and vice chair respectively of the Governors’ Biofuels Coalition, a multi-state alliance aimed at providing regional leadership on biofuels policy. With Reynolds and Dayton at the helm of the Governors’ Biofuels Coalition, the head of the Minnesota Bio-Fuels Association said there would be more opportunities to fully realize the energy security, consumer, economic and environmental benefits of biofuels such as with year-round E15.
