Trump biofuel summit fails to broker agreement between oil and corn states

In Washington, no agreement was reached during President Trump’s biofuels summit held with oil and corn state senators along with the agriculture secretary and administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency at the White House on Tuesday, a meeting aimed at ending the impasse over reforms of the Renewable Fuel Standard. Senator Ted Cruz from Texas brought up again his proposal to cap RIN prices by the Iowa senators refused it flat out, again, but the White House did say it wouldn’t make promises about legislating through executive powers.
