March ethanol exports up 68% on year to 814.2 million liters

In Texas, Platts reports that March ethanol exports rose nearly 70% over last year at 814.2 million liters but fell slightly over February’s figure. Despite the early start to the Brazilian sugarcane crush in March rather than April, the country was still the main destination for exports, receiving 363.19 million liters. Canada overtook China as the second-largest destination with 93 million liters while China received 74.9 million liters. So far this year through March, Brazil has imported 908 million liters, followed by Canada with 251 million liters and Canada with 200 million liters.
