Fiberight hopes to have Maine facility up by year’s end

May 9, 2018 |

In Maine, although Fiberight tried to get its MSW processing facility up and running by April to begin receiving waste from 115 of the state’s communities, the facility should be up and running by year’s end even if it’s not ready to produce biofuels by then. The company promised to hold monthly update meetings for the communities to demonstrate progress and show commitment to the project. The company secured $70 million in financing in January but wasn’t able to make progress as planned due to winter weather.
