Brazilian H2 April ethanol production soars 115.7% on year

In Brazil, Platts reports that ethanol production soared 115.7% on the year to a record high for the period of 1.3 billion liters during the second half of April, 52% higher than during the first half of the month. It was also the highest production since the second half of August 2015 and one of only three period since 2010/11 that saw such high volumes. Anhydrous production saw a huge jump of 214% over the first half of the month at 429.88 million liters, nearly 29% higher on the year.
