In Germany, Reuters reports that Bunge was cutting production at its 200,000 metric ton per year Mannheim biodiesel plant by 50% during Q2 due to fall out from the European Court of Justice cutting anti-dumping duties on Argentine and Indonesian biodiesel imports. Those imports have weighed heavily upon EU biodiesel prices forcing several major producers including ADM and Natural Energy West to cut production or temporarily mothball facilities. The European Biodiesel Board is seeking a new investigation into alleged biodiesel dumping.
