Brazilian ethanol production jumps more than 30% during H2 June

In Brazil, ethanol production during the second half of June jumped more than 30% on the year to 2.35 billion liters, of which 1.55 billion liters were hydrous ethanol. Just 24.47 million liters of corn ethanol were produced during the period. Hydrous ethanol sales soared nearly 48% on the year to 1.69 billion liters while anhydrous ethanol sales fell slightly to 837.6 million liters compared to nearly 840 million liters last year. Only about 100 million liters were destined for exports.
