Indonesian biodiesel industry calling for clear rules for B20

August 21, 2018 |

In Indonesia, the Jakarta Post says the local biodiesel industry is calling for clear regulations of how the new B20 blending mandate recently announced by the president will be implemented from September 1, specifically production allocations because the country produces about 12 billion liters of biodiesel but only 2 billion liters of B20 are required between September 1 and the end of the year. The allocation is expected to come from the energy and mineral resources ministry.
