Brazilian H1 August hydrous ethanol sales up 42% on year

In Brazil, hydrous ethanol sales during the first half of August were nearly 42% higher on the year at 919.8 million liters while anhydrous sales were 20 million liters lower compared to the same period last year of just 371.34 million liters. Of the total 1.34 billion liters sold during the period, just 53.49 million liters were destined for export. Total ethanol sales for the season stood at 10.58 billion liters, up more than 16% on the year.
