Indonesia to fine companies not complying with B20 mandate

In Indonesia, the energy minister has outlined sanctions for companies that don’t comply with the new B20 blending mandate, first starting with a cent per liter fine for biodiesel not blended, and then after three warnings if the situation hasn’t been resolved, the energy minister said more severe sanctions will be implemented including potentially the revoking of licenses. The sanctions are part of the new rules for blending that have been released this week ahead of the B20 mandate’s implementation from September 1.
