Biofuels industry teams with environmental groups to oppose CARB plans

In California, DTN reports that Renewable Fuels Association, National Biodiesel Board, Environmental Defense Fund, Natural Resources Defense Council, Pacific Ethanol, Renewable Energy Group, American Lung Association in California, Coalition for Renewable Natural Gas, NextGen California, California Advanced Biofuel Alliance and others wrote to the Chairwoman of the California Air Resources Board asking the agency to change a new part of the Low Carbon Fuels Standard that promotes hydrogen use at the expense of biofuels. Until now, the CARB has not chosen favorites when it comes to clean fuels and the groups want to make sure that policy remains in place.
