Argentina raises ethanol and biodiesel production again

In Argentina, the government announced higher prices for biodiesel as well as both corn-based and sugarcane-based ethanol that oil companies must pay as of September 1. Biodiesel prices were set at $610.51 per metric ton, 3.2% higher on the month. Cane-based ethanol was set at 57 cents per liter, up nearly 4% on the month while corn-based ethanol is now 46 cents per liter, up 5.7% from August. Currently the country has a B10 and E12 policy.
