In Indonesia, the Jakarta Post newspaper reports that Pertamina has already achieved 80% of the B20 mandate announced by the government in October but 100% implementation isn’t expected until the end of 2019. January through September consumption is seen at 1.8 billion liters of biodiesel compared to the 2.265 billion liter target. Although the mandate was established for the entire market, Pertamina is the largest fuel marketer in the country. The policy aims at reducing fossil fuel imports and absorbing additional palm oil supplies.
