In Washington, 24 members of the House Biofuels Caucus, led by Co-Chairs Kristi Noem (R-SD) and Collin Peterson (D-MN) sent a letter last week to Environmental Protection Agency Acting Administrator Andrew Wheeler urging the administration to lift summertime regulations on E15 and uphold the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). President Trump has repeatedly indicated that the summertame ban will be overturned. In addition, the letter calls on the agency to “put an end” to secretive refinery waivers that “hurt farmers and prevent market growth of ethanol.”
