October 23, 2018 |

In Germany, CropEnergies announced that due to the difficult market conditions, the company will pause ethanol production at its Ensus plant in Wilton, UK, from the end of November 2018 onwards. The notice came as part of an adjustment on its outlook for the current financial year 2018/19 due to ethanol prices – both spot and forward prices –having significantly fallen in the last few days contrary to all expectations. CropEnergies is now expecting an operating result between EUR15 million and EUR35 million compared to previous expectations EUR25 million to EUR55 million.
