September ethanol exports fell vs. August but 7% higher on year

In Washington, DTN reports that USDA data shows ethanol exports in September fell from the month prior to 89.8 million gallons, although the figure was 7% higher on the year while total exports for the year through September were up 25% on the year. Canada continues to reign as the top destination for ethanol, taking 39% of the total volume exported in September, followed by Malaysia and the Netherlands. Canada also took 78% of the 26,825 metric tons of biodiesel exported in September. The total figure was also down from August but a whopping 90% higher than in September 2017.
