November 8, 2018 |

In Georgia, local company Biodiesel Georgia has begun supply used cooking oil-based biodiesel to Frego gas stations in Tbilisi and a few other regions nationwide who are the first in the country to retail B10. The company is collecting UCO from some restaurants but primarily from McDonald’s. Beyond retail sales, Biodiesel Georgia is looking to work with public transportation companies in order to transition them to B10 as well in an effort to reduce fossil fuel demand and also improve the environmental footprint in urban areas.
