INEOS-Bio ethanol and biomass plants up for immediate sale

January 3, 2019 |

In Florida, Frankens Energy that bought the former INEOS-Bio plant is now selling the ethanol facility, biomass plant and two tracts of land of 75 acres and nearly 69 acres for $130 million. Bids can be received until Tuesday, January 8. If a single buyer doesn’t pick up the entire package, then it will be sold piecemeal via online auction on January 15. The current owners say the ethanol plant don’t fit in their vision of an eco-industrial park where all of the industries work together, and none of those likely to locate to the park need the installations the company is trying to sell off.
