EPA says it will have year-round E15 rules ready for summer driving season

In Washington, Reuters reports that the Environmental Protection Agency says it is working to ensure the rules allowing for year-round sales of E15 are in place before the summer driving season despite the ongoing government shutdown and despite it having told sources that the shutdown was delaying the rulemaking process. Work has already been ongoing for the E15 rulemaking so making the deadline, even if it’s not submitted by February for implementation by June 1 as originally proposed, shouldn’t be a challenge.
