Indonesia wants PLN to go 100% biodiesel for power production in two years

In Japan, the Jakarta Post newspaper reports the energy minister told Indonesians living in the country that the government has set a two-year deadline for state-owned power producer PLN to shift away from diesel completely and replace the fuel used for producing power to 100% palm oil-based biodiesel. The news came as part of a wider presentation explaining to expats in Japan what the newly re-elected president has done for the country over the past four years.
