Indonesia working with car companies on future B30 use

In Indonesia, the Jakarta Post reports that the government is working with automobile manufacturers to allow use of up to 30% biodiesel blends. Already last September the blend was bumped to 20% but the government is looking at B30 to help absorb the palm oil surplus and reduce fossil fuel imports that have negatively impacted its currency and foreign reserves. Trials for use of B30 in the Mitsybishi Fuso are set to kick off shortly.
