Zambia finally develops biofuel blending and pricing policy but no details yet

In Zambia, the National Broadcasting Corp. reports that the government is finally set to implement a biodiesel blending policy after many years of deliberations and false starts. The government has determined the blending level for biodiesel and has established a pricing mechanism for the biodiesel as well, but the levels weren’t reported. The Brazilian government is providing policy advice to help Zambia achieve its climate and fossil fuel import reduction goals. In addition to biofuel, Zambia’s energy minister said the country is exploring other renewable energy sources as well.
