Thailand set to have B10 become the standard by next week

May 14, 2019 |

In Thailand, the Bangkok Post reports that B10 will be the standard diesel fuel in the country by next week, rising from the current B7 blend. Both fuels, for which international standards will also be announced next week, will be available because only Isuzu and Toyota have announced that their pickups, vans and trucks are compatible with B10 while European manufacturers are resisting the move and insisting on only guaranteeing up to B7. Already B20 is available at nearly 200 fueling stations with another 100 expected during the next year.
