Brazil auctions 984.44 million liters of biodiesel for B10 mandate

In Brazil, Renewables Now reports that 984.44 million liters of biodiesel were sold at the Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency’s most recent biodiesel auction at an average of 60 cents per liter worth a total of $589.3 million. A total of 1.12 billion liters of biodiesel were offered for sale at the 67th auction, 99.64% of which carried the social seal. The fuel sold at the auction is for use in the country’s 10% biodiesel mandate between July 1 and August 31.
