Focus on Fundamentals: The Digest’s 2019 Multi-Slide Guide to Byogy Renewables

July 24, 2019 |

Byogy Renewables is a biofuels organization, headquartered in San Jose, California that produces advanced biofuels, namely jet fuel and gasoline from any source of bio ethanol. Byogy’s fuels are direct renewable substitutes for petroleum based fuels. And they have a big mission – to become the low cost producer of the highest quality renewable jet fuel and gasoline in the world, and to act as a catalyst for the development of a global supply chain for these fuels.

Kevin Weiss, President & CEO of Byogy gave this illuminating overview of their catalytic bio-refining process that is similar to the typical oil refining process and how they have worked on defining the most direct path from sugars, how following the fundamentals has helped them get to where they are, and more at ABLC 2019 in Washington, D.C.
