Nebraska is home to the invention of Kool-Aid, home to billionaire Warren Buffet, and home to the first Arbor Day, but the state’s innovations go beyond that. It’s also home to production facilities for Novartis, Zoetis, Celerion, Merck Animal Health, and Novozymes. And one organization is trying to be the champion of biotechnology and an advocate for its member organizations to foster the growth of life sciences within Nebraska – BioNebraska.

Phil Kozera, Executive Director at Bio Nebraska Life Sciences Association gave this illuminating overview of why Nebraska, as the nation’s second largest ethanol producer and third largest corn producer, is a perfect location for new feed and green chemicals industries, shared case studies like ADM’s Prairie Catalytic project, and more at ABLC 2019 in Washington, D.C
