Malaysia offers UK route to palm oil trade post-Brexit

In Malaysia, Bloomberg reports that the country’s prime minister said in an opinion column that the UK could avoid the European trade war with the country by taking its own route post-Brexit by importing palm oil. Though he said he hopes to avoid a trade war with the EU and continues to “hold out the hand of friendship”, if it can’t be avoided, he said the UK can avoid the mess and continue to improve its trade relationship with Malaysia by importing palm oil.
