Iowa governor planning Washington fly-in over EPA-led ethanol demand destruction

In Iowa, Radio Iowa reports that the governor is planning an emergency fly-in to Washington along with other Midwest governors to tell President Trump face-to-face about the impacts the Environmental Protection Agency’s hardship waivers are having on the ethanol industry and the communities it supports. The governor has recently been appointed Trump’s Iowa reelection campaign co-chair and believes she has top level access to the president. She also believes he didn’t fully understand the ramifications of the EPA decisions.
