Epitome Energy expects to start with permitting process shortly

September 4, 2019 |

In Minnesota, Epitome Energy expects to be one step closer to its planned $150 million soybean crush and biodiesel facility with the start of its permitting process. The company recently secured a $250,000 loan from the City of Crookston where the facility will be located as well as $5 million the company will indirectly benefit from that the Minnesota legislature recently approved for the Soy Innovation Campus. The facility could be online by the fall of 2021, and when it does, it expects to increase local soy prices by 20 cents a bushel thanks to its demand for feedstock.
