Mega manure-to-LNG project in Arizona still on track despite green bond hiccups

In Arizona, Bloomberg reports that an award winning green bond set up by Goldman Sachs to finance a mega cow manure-to-LNG project that is expected to supply public transportation in the Los Angeles area has had a number of challenges such as triggering a technical default with bondholders, missing milestones, going over budget by about $9 million so far, and even paying a contractor $245,000 instead of a trustee. Even so, investors, the county government who is supporting the project and the project developers themselves seem confident the project will be online in February, a month later than initially projected.
