UK ethanol imports likely to see tariffs after Brexit

In the UK, the Guardian newspaper reports that among the 12% of European goods that will be subject to tariffs after Brexit includes ethanol, but it’s not clear how much the tariff will be. It’s possible that the current tariff won’t change at all, but be applied to “a narrower range of fuels” in an attempt to support UK ethanol producers. UK ethanol producers have suffered due to the country’s slow implementation of 10% ethanol blending.
