Indonesian biodiesel demand to jump 45% in 2020 as B30 blends take hold

In Indonesia, Reuters is reporting that the Indonesia energy ministry has boosted biodiesel blending mandates by 45 percent for 2020 compared to 2019. The ministry has announced a blending allocation of 9.59 million kilolitres of unblended biodiesel. Last year, the ministry ordered blending at a 6.63 million KL level. The move follows a commitment by Indonesian President Joko Widodo to move Indonesia from 20 percent biodiesel blends to 30 percent.
