Biodiesel in Malaysia and Indonesia seen rising by 5 million tons in 2020

In Malaysia, the Bernama news agency reports that the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries sees biodiesel demand in Malaysia and Indonesia rising to 11 million metric tons next year, 5 million tons higher than this year, thanks to the B30 and B20 policies implemented in the respective countries in 2019. The council sees the controversy surrounding deforestation resolving itself by 2025, bringing back further demand for palm oil biodiesel and increasing prices in turn.
